I want to tell you a little bit about me. But really it is not about me that really matters it is all about the Lord. This website is about blogging simple words from the Lord! The Lord said " Tell my children how much I LOVE THEM!"
My name is Denise McKnight and I live in a small town called Kingstree, South Carolina. I am a wife, mother, grandmother and most of all I am a Child of God. I believe with all my heart that Jesus died for my sins.
On March 25th the Lord woke me up at 3:00 am in the morning and inspired me to start this website with Holy Spirit's guidance. God has also given me freedom to be myself in Him. The Lord even gave me the name "God's Encourager" for this website, because I love to encourage people in the Lord. I enjoy working with computers and when I run into a wall, I just stop and ask God for His help.
The next morning during my bible study, I felt the Holy Spirit tell me "Speak with simplicity”, which He wants the wording on the website to be very simple where everyone can understand what is being said. He also said “Tell My children that I love them, pour into them."
The next morning I contacted the church website company to ask if they let individuals establish a website and they said yes. Then I told them what the name of the website would be. This is what was texted back to me " GODSENCOURAGER.com" domain was open!!! In computer language it means that that nobody else has that name. When I saw that text, I knew that it was my confirmation.
I am going to be honest with you, I am nervous and excited of what I am stepping into, but God reassured me on March 29 that He would speak through my blogs, sing through my voice, and play through my fingers. All I had to do was be obedient, listen closely to Him and trust Him. I will follow His lead with all of my heart.
I always loved history in school not English or math. So, my English/grammar maybe incorrect at times BUT as long as you understand what God is speaking to you then that is what matters. I am free to be myself and tell the world about God and His son Jesus Christ who died for my sins. And Holy Spirt who is guides me on these pages. As I blog this page write now, Holy Spirit is giving me the words for you to read.
I look forward to the inspiration of Holy Spirit as He speaks through me to you and the world to let you know what God wants to say to the world!!!!!
