Wow, think about this, we can choose to be defeated and have a pity party or we can put on the garment of Praise! What am I saying? Praise is a powerful weapon that the Lord has given us. My favorite story about praise is in 2 Chronicles 20:17-25. God desires/inhabits our praise! (Psalm 22:3) He loves to hear us PRAISE and WORSHIP Him. But it is our choice to Praise. Puttting Praise on is like putting on a garment. A garment can be put on and taken off. Praise is the same way. God has given us free will to worship Him and to call upon Him, and trust in Him. When we become a CHILD OF GOD praise will be on our lips at all times.(Psalm 34:1)
I will bless Jehovah/God at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth. (ASV)

Example: This past week I had one day that was very tough. My horse cut the meat around the huff. Then my husband had something going on with his eye and he was not happy. (okay ladies we have to take care of our men LOL) Then to top it all off I go to get something out of my freezer in my kitchen around 8pm, and it was not working properly. OUCH, I was extremely tired and I did not want to have to clean out a freezer that late. O yea, I activated my website the same day all of this happen. Get the picture - satan was not happy and he was doing everything to get me off focus and discouraged. BUT I serve God who takes care of me! He has never let me down.
Note: as all of the above was taking place on that one day, I kept telling myself it will be alright! Thank you Holy Spirit for those comforting words. Holy Spirit is my best friend.
Okay back to the freezer. I stood there looking at it and I really wanted to complain and cry, I was tired poor me right? (Philippians 2:14) Do all things without complaining and grumbling.

Little gold nugget here: If you do not study the Word of God, then you will not know what to do or react as God would have you. I had read the scripture about complaining and etc and I knew what to do. My choice right?

BUT, Holy Spirit revealed to me what was going on. So as I stood in my kitchen I started singing words of praise to MY Lord, I put on His garment of praise, I said,” no satan I see what you are doing! Not going to happen today.” I asked to Lord to help me and give me strength to do what needed to be done. I meant I was not going to let this issue cause me to complain. I told myself that God would provide the strength I needed and He did just that.
PRAISE GOD I had put to much food in the top of the freezer and it could not breathe. As I started cleaning and rearranging the food, the freezer came back on and has been working fine. Well I can hear you saying the freezer stopped working because of you! Yes you are right. But if I had complained about the situation I would have been feeding the enemy and then my house would be in confusion and etc. Praising the Lord brings confusion to the enemy. God inhabits our praise! Complaining feeds the enemy and gives the enemy more control over your life. So which one do you want God/peace or satan/strife?
So do you get my point? WHEN you are over whelmed by something in your life, STOP( don’t panic and don’t let it upset you), BREATHE, (breath in a breathe of God) and SING TO THE LORD (open your mouth and filled the airway with praise to the One who created you and this world)!!!!
You are letting Him know that you trust Him no matter what happens. He really loves this when we reach out to Him for help. He wants us to depend on Him and not ourselves. Sing to Him for who He is and not what He can and does for you. Just SING a prayer of praise and worship the Lord with everything inside of you!!!! God loves your voice whether you are on key or not, it puts out a beautiful aroma/sound to Him.
God’s word (GPS- God’s Preferred Solutions) give us instructions for every opposition/storm/attack that the enemy sends against us and how to maintain our Christian walk to Heaven. Sure we are going to make mistakes and fail, but we must get back up and shake it off, repent seek God. He already knew what was going to happen in our lives. His love for us is so great our mind cannot comprehend it!!!
Remember PUT ON THE GARMENT OF PRAISE, because when you complain you are feeding just what the enemy is trying to do in your life. BUT when you PRAISE THE LORD, it confuses the enemy, who has no clue what is going on, but you do!!!!!! God is taking care of you!
